As program coordinator, Courtney Swyden organizes and executes the institute's training programs by developing curriculum materials, handling logistics, and administering continuing education credits. Swyden also collaborates with faculty and academia to develop, coordinate, and market water resources short courses.
Swyden joined Texas Water Resources Institute in June 2008. Prior to joining the institute, Swyden worked as a tournament/specials events coordinator. While earning a bachelor of science in agricultural journalism and communications from Texas A&M University, Swyden worked at TWRI with the communications team.
